2011 SEASON

2 Northern Rockies nominees attended the Indian Fire session of S420F conducted by the Great Basin Training Unit
14 nominees from the S420F list completed a classroom-based all-hazards S420 in Missoula. Sponsored by MT DNRC


2010 SEASON

July 31
Four Northern Rockies students completed an S420 in the Great Basin Geographic Area.



2009 SEASON

No opportunities to present S420F in the Northern Rockies this past training season. We did have 2 students go to another Geographic Area to attend an S420F. Out of this arose two issues.
  •  Mobilization (the Northern Rockies has a different system of mobilization than other Geo Areas)
  •  Tuition - Tuition charges may be collected at the incident at the time S420F is being presented. Students who would be available to attend an S420F in another Geo Area should have had discussion at their home unit to be prepared to pay tuition charges.
